Fly Jinnah’s flight narrowly escapes fatal disaster

Fly Jinnah, a private airline from Pakistan, issued a MayDay call and had an emergency landing at the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore.

As per reports, the flight ‘9P846’ was travelling from Karachi to Lahore. At the time of landing of around 7:15 PM (PST), the flight crew observed smoke in the cargo area through the Smoke Alarm Indication system. Flight crew issued an emergency MayCall through the radio broadcast. After the safe landing at the Lahore airport, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority started the airplane’s inspection. A clearance letter was issues within the half an over of the inspection but exact cause of smoke remains unknown.

Higher Authorities have asked for detailed investigation of the matter. Some Social Media users appreciated the staff for immediately taking action to prevent the possible disaster while many were seen criticizing the airline for risking hundreds of lives.
